Kite for kids is great!

5
The Starling children’s accounts are really good. Set up in one banking app I can easily see what my children are spending on their cards. I can add money and share their link for family to treat them too. Good control over spending limits, daily spend and what services they can access like cash withdrawals and online spending which aren’t enabled for my kids yet but can be switched on as needed. Low monthly fees compared to other providers too. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Easy to use and has everything I need

Excellent product for your kids to start getting experience with money. My daughter was very happy to get her first card she can use to buy something not asking her parents to pay but magically touching the payment machine and seeing that notification on her phone. This experience opened a door to a set of absolutely new questions and areas she never thought about before, so now I have a chance to teach her budgeting and good money habits. Thanks, Starling! This Kite card means I give my 11yr old independent spending which I can monitor when ever. It's handy for pocket money, going with friends or simply making him feel special that he has his own bank card already. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

The BEST children bank account

My son always happy anytime he uses his bank card to buy something and that makes me so happy Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Easy set up and safe

Was undecided on whether to open a full account for my son or try one of the cash card style services offered by multiple places (Go Henry, Starling etc). As I was currently banking with Starling it seemed as though this would work seamlessly and make it easy to check and track spending. The kite card is a mastercard so is accepted everywhere and was super easy to set up using my app and his own downloaded app which only gives him a balance, spend and deposit info but is also secured as a banking app should be. Setting up the card is straight forward and is very thorough on where and how much he can spend. As it's part of my own account transfering funds is a doddle. I can't really think of any negative points and would recommend to others, especially those with pre teen kids who aren't yet fully knowledgeable about finances and the cost of things. It is a good training tool. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
