Great to teach finances

Giving children the right tools to be money savvy

The Starling Kite account has been perfect for my 9 year old daughter. Other than feeling very grown up at owning the Kite card, it has actually encouraged her to save more. She can see via the app what she is spending and when money is transferred into her account. It's now more about the money going in rather than spending imaginary never ending money! Perfect! Amazing Childrens Account

Both of my children have their own spaces with cards they can use independently. We transfer them pocket money every week in return for jobs in the house. They can then choose what to spend it on. We set the daily limit & allow or disallow card payments in the shop or online. I get notified of each spend as it occurs. My oldest has 2 spaces now, one for savings as he has realised that it disappears if you spend it. Its a brilliant way to give a little self sufficiency & education on money which is effectively theirs. Excellent and easy to use!

I am so impressed with the Kite bank accounts that I have for both of my children, they are easy to use, easy for me to access, they can check their own balances and they have started to learn about making their own financial choices.
