It's great for the kids but you have to pay.

This is a great product all my kids have a starling account the 8 year old loves the freedom of her card and the 14year old loves that she can go on her phone and track payments and see balance. The only thing I don't like about this is the mthly payment. Ok it's not a lot but with cost of living keep going up the people who can't afford it will never be able to enjoy this great product. A great product but for the well off and I feel that starling has missed a trick but not allowing it to the mass, and alot more customers. Great product but at a cost. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

My son loves it

It’s a great account, my Son loves having his own card and being able to pay with it. It’s easy for me to transfer money in, and I can see what he’s spending on. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Customer Focused Bank

Starling listen to customers! A few years ago I suggested a children’s account and they said other customers did too- then they launched kite! My 11 year old has her own debit card and her own app but I can control and see everything from within my app. We can see the pin when she forgets, lock and unlock the card, set limits and she is learning how to handle money- starling are also easy to get in touch with - super! Just excellent

I have set this account up for my son, it is easy to use, I can transfer money, set spending limits and see what he has purchased. Whilst he is still getting to understand how to manage his money this has been really helpful. The app is great for him to be able to keep tabs on what he has available to spend.
