Starling - simply the best

So easy to use. Well designed app that means I can keep a check on my daughters spending and she can see what she has spent before spending any further cash. Fantastic idea before being let loose with a full account. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Perfect to teach the kids how to be responsible

I love the children’s kite accounts. I have used a few different competitors cards over the years but I feel Starling’s is the best. I love that they can have their own app and debit card. I pay my kids pocket money in each week and also negotiate how much of Christmas/birthday money goes onto their kite account for instant access and how much they save. I think it’s very important that we teach our children how to be responsible with money and having a card so young and the app is a great education. My children have learnt so far how to save for items they want and also the steps to take if for example their card is lost. They also check their money regular through the app so they know what they have spent and how much they have left and of course if mum has forgotten their pocket money lol. It is also fantastic that I have access to their accounts as well. Should I need to take money out for any reason (they forget their card and want me to pay for something for example).
