The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Flexible, responsive and replete with usful features

I am very impressed with my experience (3 months so far). The account is flexible and responsive through the App and minor problems have been sorted very quickly by Starling staff. I frequently make on-line purchases in Euros and the Euro add-on is extremely useful and economical as it does away with the expensive per-transaction foreign currency fees of my other banks. Really easy to use

Banking as it should be

I don't want a bank manager or to replicate the past. Instead, I want a bank that works the way my life does. And that is Starling. An intuitive interface, clean design and with the information I need to manage my money to hand. Being able to see who I am paying gives me the confidence it isn't a scam or I have mistyped. And 3D Secure implemented in a way that works - clearly explained authorisation within the app. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Retired

When I retired I felt that my previous bank lost interest in me. That's when I transferred to Sterling. What difference it was, I wished I had done it earlier. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Absolutely fantastic

So simple it’s frightening. Not for me, and not for you. For the big banks including HSBC which I left to join. Easy to use, great customer service, a fantastic app. It’s been a fantastic year with my new bank. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Easy banking

Easy, Efficient, Effective

There is no comparison with my previous bank, Everything with Starling has been effortless. When I’ve needed help or information it has been there.
