Innovative banking

I moved over to Starling from Barclays almost a year ago and haven't looked back. It's a better interface to see how you're spending and what you're spending on. Easy to setup new payees and delete direct debits as needed. Just super simple. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2021

Modern, fast, easy

Starling is a breath of fresh air. I can do everything from the app (or via the Web), including paying-in cheques, and the changes are instant. You get a great feeling of security when you know that swiping your card in a shop results in an almost instant notification on your phone, so if I ever dropped my card and someone used it, I'd know straight away and be able to cancel it. I like the way I can easily add notes and attachments to each transaction - this really helps me manage my joint account with my partner as I can say what a purchase from an unfamiliar merchant is, etc. Brilliant. Rethink your Banking

I opened a personal account to make great use of the saving spaces, its very easy and I love to add money each month. I recommended to a friend who also finds it easy to use but we connected to make a joint account also which was straight forward to set up and we can track spend, love the notifications that come in when she's spending! Payments and transfers.

Payments and transfers have been made a piece of cake using the Starling app,what ever I need to do, whenever I need to do it even if it's the middle of the night, I know I can rely on my dream team at Starling Bank. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2021

Astonished

Having banked only with major high street banks since I left school I am astonished that I could have been so daft! None of them has ever impressed other than by their efficiency at making a quick buck, their total disregard of their customers' real needs and the ability of some them to say one thing and then do another - in other words to lie. With so many high street banks withdrawing from the High Street I thought it was time to look at the market; Starling seemed to be extremely well thought of so I moved my account. I have been astonished at how much easier everything seems - astonishingly good support and the app is fantastically good. I get notified of transactions before Mr Tesco can print my till receipt! Basically, I was astonished to find that old fashioned service still exists. Oh, and they pay me interest - not much, it has to be said, but I GET INTEREST! Totally astonishing!
