Stunningly practical bank account

I have been a current account holder since July 2017. I was hesitant to use an app only account, as although I am confident with online banking, not actually having a branch to call into was a concept I had not encountered. Starling banking app is simply outstanding. It categorises payments, shows very easily monies spent each day and month And in fact all it’s features are very intuitive and easy to use. I absolutely love this account. Starling also are always looking at ways to improve the app and are succeeding... for example round up and cash withdrawals at the post office. I say thank you. How can you not like them?

Live banking, instant debits, phone notification and no charges for spending abroad! How can you not like this bank? They bent over backwards to produce a mid month statement for me. They also felt with a double charging issue (Carrefour, France) with ease and they do all this for free while adding interest to me balance. Can't fault them!!! Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Never thought I would truly enjoy banking

Starling is the absolute best financial decision I have made. Having initially created an account to avoid foreign fees for a trip to Germany, I now use it as my primary bank. Having purchases taken off total balance instantly is a god send, easy way of splitting bills, easily depositing money at a post office, exceptional 24 hour customer service replacing a lost card in under 48 hours (and still always being usable with Apple Pay). I don’t even feel like I’ve scraped the surface but have encouraged friends who have also made the switch to Starling from banks stuck in the past. Truly the future I’d recommend starling to anyone. The future of banking

I took our Starling card away with us to Japan. Not only could we pay and use it like a debit card back home but we could also withdraw cash each day, all without paying a fee! The app let me know about each purchase and topping it up was a doddle. It transformed our holiday and meant we didn't have to worry about money when abroad.
