Seamless, modern and enjoyable banking experience

I have been a Staring customer since it’s launch and could not be happier with them. The app is modern and very easy to use, and very fast (which is a distinction large bank can claim). Travelling with Starling is a particular highlight, as one can use ones debit card essentially as they do at home, paying very minimal fees and taking a lot of hassle out of making transactions overseas. Brilliant fintech, that knows how banking is radically changing!

Fully switched to Starling last year from First Direct. They have already bettered them in their customer service, ability to provide an API, have a great app which is getting new features all the time and and more customer focused than any other bank I've found. Reviewed on: 16th January 2018

A Bank & Account from the future

I've had an account for 6 months, from opening it in less than a minute, to painless switching, to the fully featured App already awesome but with so much coming, to the excellent support 24/7, it's been simply superb. Making Banking enjoyable!

It’s incredible! I’ve never boasted to people about my Bank before. My car and iPhone yes, but never my bank. I’m now a massive advocate for Starling. The user experience is beautiful and simple. I don’t need to find an HSBC dongle to log on. It gives me instant awareness of my spending and a wonderful overview on a longer term basis. An Amazing Bank That Is Going Places!

I have only been a Starling Bank customer for a short time. When first seeing Starling Bank being promoted and recommended to me by a fellow blogger friend, I was soon to keep the name in mind and check out the bank in its pre-development stages. Soon enough, the bank was launched and alive. Their features are outstanding and with the added ability of sharing your suggestions and the team being open to feedback and taking on new ideas. I love the personal feel this bank provides, yes, there is thousands of other customers, but the way their customer service is, it really makes feel as though bank knows you already and is there to speak with you at any moment. I'll be honest, I haven't dealt with their telephony team as I haven't felt the need too, as their live chat feature is my go-to. Overall, there are no negatives. My spending has dramatically seen a big difference and being able to see you spending in real-time is fabulous. If you haven't considered moving over to Starling, I would seriously consider it. My starlit account is everything I need it to be and more; from great exchange rates whilst abroad, to helping me save for key milestones and controlling everything via my smartphone. It slots easily into my life and I’ve become an active bank user rather than a passive one, which is certainly the way I treated the high street bank account that I held for over 20 years. Applying for the account was surprisingly pain free. Enticed by the no-fees abroad aspect of the account, I have come to use the account for other business more and more. My long standing current account experience is looking shabby in comparison with the Starling account. A recent startup, Starling are happy to take and act on suggestions from their customers for improving their product. That is a journey I look forward to being part of.
