Simple and convenient

I love the simplicity and convenience of banking with Starling. The app is very easy to use, and being 100% digital means I can take my bank with me wherever I go, it’s right there in my pocket. On the rare occasion I need to speak to someone, I can do that too. The best of both worlds? I think so! Reviewed on: 7th April 2023

Starling Is What Every High Street Bank Aspires To Be, But Isn't!

Starling has been a complete and utter breath of fresh air versus the stale, stuffy and overly traditional high street banks of the UK. Sick to the back-teeth of awkward, clunky, often incredibly frustrating online banking systems jerry-rigged together by old-school banks who were somehow caught on the back-foot by technology, coupled with their never ending scandals (I was previously mainly a Co-Operative Bank customer for over 20 yrs, so I'm looking at you Paul Flowers!). I'd heard colleagues mention how good Starling was, and after doing some checks online and being very impressed with what I saw, I immediately took the plunge. Starling Bank's app is perfection! Clear and easy to use, frustration free and best of all, gives me live notifications if there are any issues with payments in and out, but even better are the Spaces you can create ti segragate different pots of money. To be able to create a separate space for my monthly bills without having to mess about with moving Direct Debits like traditional banks force you too and making you feel like banging your head against a wall in frustration is amazing! I've finally been able to take full control of my finances without the need to open separate accounts and can now finally look to start saving money because I can now easily budget simply by glimpsing at the app - it sounds corny but Starling has literally changed my life for the better!
