Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

Everyone on the team are very helpful and put your mind at ease and give you the best advise possible to put your mind at ease. Once everything was in place it put your mind at ease and they keep in touch all the time at regular intervals and making sure that you can afford to pay the debts off comfortably.
