Life Changing Contact

I was in a downward spiral of substantial debt which I had ignored for some time and I felt ashamed to contact anyone in case they felt I was a fool. Finally plucked up the courage to ring Step Change and I really have never looked back. All the staff I have spoken to have been incredibly empathetic and helpful in every respect. I have never felt a fool not alone be treated like one; the weight off my shoulders is indescribable. I cannot say enough in praise of this organisation. Changed my life

10 years ago Stepchange helped me set-up a re-payment plan, they have been so helpful over the years and i'm almost at the end of my repayments with their guidance. So easy to set-up and such helpful people at the end of the phone/email. I can't recommend this service enough and can't wait to be debt free next year. Great Service!

I've been with Step Change for a number of years and have always received good advice about my financial situation. I've recommended them to at least a dozen friends and family. They are also my go to Service for clients with debts. All advisors are knowledgeable and offer sound advise for their clients to make the best choice to manage their debt issues. Cannot give a high enough recommendation

From saving us from sleepless nights; from feeling we had nowhere to go to solving our financial problems; from giving us the confidence to 'face' our debts rather than burying our heads in the sand; to know there is a way out of the black hole we were in; to speaking to someone that didn't judge us. We are now on the road from debt recovery and although we are not clear of debt yet, we have come a long way and we don't have the fear of letters arriving that were threatening to take us to court. We cannot say enough good things about Step Change and their staff. They were literally life savers and made us feel human again. They really deserve this award for making thousands of people in the same position feel they are not failures. Sometimes it's just what life throws at you that takes you in to debt. I'd say to anyone that picking up the phone and making that first call is the first step and by the time you get off the phone after speaking to their staff on that very first call, you feel as though a weight has been lifted. Excellent Debt Charity

Step Change were there when I was at my lowest point with mounting debts. I should have contacted them sooner instead of burying my head in the sand. I am now 3 years away from being debt free thanks to their help and advice. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021
