Trustworthy, genuine, understanding and very professional.

I had gone into depression due to my debts. Could not sleep due to the threatening letters I used to receive from my debtors but when I spoke to StepChange my life changed, I now have a peace of mind and sleeping much better if not well. When you make a call it's like you are talking to your best friend, they really understand and good listeners. They also reassure you that all will be fine and if you have any problem or if your circumstances changes just let us know as soon as possible. My life changed for the better with Stepchange. Stress Busters

We unfortunately got into trouble with various credit cards due to the negative equity trap and being offered various loans to clear them. Never once did they question why we did it and have now managed to bring everything under control with solid advice and friendly staff. Everyone we have spoken with have never been judgemental and always been very helpful. Excellent service to help with debt problem

I found myself not meeting my monthly commitments and gradually falling behind with payments. I ended up owing over £17K. After being diagnosed with cancer, Macmillan suggested Step Change. After talking to them they arranged a debt management plan with my debtors. This will finish next year - I’m very glad for their help. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2021
