Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

Step change helped me get my life back

Step change helped me get my finances and life back on track, they took the burden off me and tailored me a plan that was affordable. T he advisors were so understanding and knowledgeable can't thank them enough. After a few months of being with step change I fell on more hardship so I contacted them and explained my situation, the simply just adjusted my plan until my situation improved.
