Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Thank you step change

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to step change as they've helped me out with my financial situation that I had got myself into and couldn't get out too but with their help I've been able to sort out my life a bit better now and and with the help I'm getting from them I don't have to worry about things so much now as I have worries and anxiety issues about everything especially my financial situation too. In Control

Since I joined the service has been excellent and put me more in control leaving me feeling positive about my future finances.
