Supportive and Caring

Stepchange is the understanding, none criticising option for anyone who has unfortunately fell into debt I would sure recommend them. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2021

Saviour from bankruptcy....

StepChange have saved me potentially from losing my home and assets by setting up a debt management plan, when the current cost of living crisis hit. I was unfortunate to have an accident at work, which left me with a spinal injury and unable to continue to be employed. Having to rely on payments from the welfare system, to live and pay for everything, including a mortgage, house maintenance, bills and adaptive equipment to make my home safe for me to live in. I have being able to meet every payment on the Debt Management Plan, with advise and understanding of my situation from StepChange. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

If your struggling with your debts do not hesitate to contact Step Change! I had never ever defaulted on a monthly payment but never less I was struggling only paying the minimum ! taking repayment holidays moving debts from one credit card to another! But I couldnt see how to get myself out this mess! so I finally got in touch with Step Change first online as I felt embarrassed! But Staff at StepChange are wonderful ! They will help you create a budget deal with your creditors! Look it will take time and you will have change your spending habits ! But I am no longer jugging debts ! and feeling anxious! A money advice organisation that put you first

My experience has been really positive. From the start, they treated me like a human being rather than just another account, which made a huge difference. They took the time to explain all of the options available to me in a clear and compassionate way, helping me make informed decisions without feeling pressured. The payment management process has been straightforward, and the platform is very easy to use and navigate, which has made staying on top of everything much less stressful.
