Incredible charity.

Just under 5 years ago I admitted defeat with walking my tightrope that was my finances. One of my friends put me in touch with StepChange, having used them for their own debt advice. I haven't looked back since. From the first contact to the last they have always really approachable, easy to talk to, brilliant at helping however desperate and confusing the situation appears. The website is fantastic, with tools to help in the long term as well as during your crisis, the colour and font used is ideal, as is the way it is laid out. The fact that StepChange regularly get mentioned in the House of Commons, and no other debt organisation does, tells its own story. They really should be funded, not charitable, however the fact that they are a registered charity makes the service they provide so much more impressive. Stepchange have simply changed my life and I really hope that they win this award, I will always remember what an impact they had on the way I see myself. Thank you just isn't enough. I cannot begin to put into mere words what I owe to StepChange - without their support & empathetic help I think honestly I was on the brink of ending it all... I know it was me that was running up debts & I was hiding it from everyone .. then one night when I was unable to sleep I came across StepChange and from that moment when I reached out to them I felt liberated, and believed I would be able to face up to my debts - thank you so very much ....you definitely deserve to win this award. I was having sleepless nights due to being in debt because of my ex husband....Stepchange have been amazing with me through the whole process. It was THE best phonecall I have ever made. They have been on contact with my creditors and helped me regain my purse strings. Highly recommend them and can't thank them enough. Ok, so I'm a little biased as I am fortunate enough to work for this incredible charity. Speaking to Clients everyday that have had their lives turned around because they turned to StepChange when through no fault of their own, their life circumstances changed and they found themselves struggling is very humbling and rewarding work.
