I was ashamed of myself and my situation

I was ashamed and felt so guilty for the situation I was in. I was sobbing my heart out, they talked to me and calmed me down and talked me through everything making sure I still had enough money to live on I was trying to give them more and to have them say that I couldn’t live on what I was offering them. A total life- saver

I called Step Change at the lowest point in my life - not knowing who to turn to. For the first time in my life I found myself in debt and unable to pay my credit cards. Step Change staff were incredible - so reassuring and helpful. And here I am with only 6 months left before I finish and Step Change have been there with me all the way. Took away my worries

I was in a terrible way with my finances before I spoke to stepchange, they were helpful, informative and reassured me. After my initial phone call I felt at ease finally. The most incredible, easy & understanding debt help

I can’t thank StepChange enough for what they did to help me. They made what was a very difficult time manageable and they have provided me with so much help and support. I felt so uneasy talking about my situation but they way they are set up with there online tools takes all the pressure away and at no point did I feel uncomfortable nor pressured into explaining how I ended up in the place I was.
