Excellent and Non judgemental

I rang Step Change a few times before having the courage to speak to them. I was embarrassed that I had got into debt, but it was circumstances rather that stupidity. When I finally spoke to a lovely gentleman about my problems he was so helpful and didn’t judge me or ask me awkward questions, just what he needed to know to get me started on a DMP. Stepchange were amazing

For the first time in my life I managed to get into a lot of debt. I was self employed and lost my accounts and was struggling to get employment. The agressive letters from debtors we’re off the scale and I didn’t k is how to deal with the situation I was in and felt very depressed. Stepchange took control of my debts and put together a payable plan which worked with the job I managed to finally get.
