Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

A lifesaving service

When I found myself in a bad debt situation, due to sudden demolition of my business premises effectively putting me out of business, Stepchange came to my aid with extensive advice and a manageable debt plan. I was at my wits end with the stress of creditors letters and constant phone calls. Stepchange and their expertise put an end to that and the relief was unbelievable. Saved my life

Hard but really worth it!

I’ve Been struggling for a long time to manage my money. Racking up debt and interest payments with no prospect of paying it off and living stress and worry.
