Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Amazing people make a successful business,!

Step change have literally saved my life. I was under so much stress, pressure, I could not see a way out, except for a final solution. Then Step change did just that. One step at a time, with patience, understanding and genuine care they guided me through all options available to me, and it was no where near as ominous as I had it all pictured in my darkest moments. Slowly, diligently we agreed a plan, and out the wheels in motion for my gradual steps for a debt free life. The customer representatives are very knowledgeable and have all the options, answers to reassure you. Step change DESERVES recognition because they genuinely care, understand. Life saver

Husband was made redundant several times over a few years they helped us each time adjust our budget and pay our debts it was such a huge weight off our shoulders, we new we weren’t dealing with this on our own.
