Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Without a shadow of a doubt i woukd recommend step change

Step change helped me to figure out a future to pay my debts and never judged me. I am on the road to debt recovery and can sleep at night. Stepchange are at the end of the phone to answer your queries and all the personnel are efficient, kind, friendly and helpful. Thank you step change. When I was struggling with my finances my bank recommended me to step change who have been absolutely amazing if it wasn't for stepchange giving me the help I needed I would still be struggling now. I can't really remember the names of the people who helped me at stepchange I would really like to say thank you very much for saving me for not getting further in debt I have learnt from my mistakes so thank you again stepchange if anybody who is in the same situation as me please go to stepchange as they are excellent and there to help they never judge. Step change literally saved myself

Everyone was so nice at stepchange. I 20 when I stupidly got myself into money issue, I felt like I couldn’t find a way out of my problems.
