Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Couldn't ask for more

It took a lot for me to contact a company like step change but I am so glad I did. My finances are now under control and manageable. They gave excellent customer service and we're so helpful they have made my life so much less stressful and are there at every stage if you require help or have any questions. Ongoing help

Stepchange honestly have helped me so much, I’m 24, have been in debt since 18/19, as soon as I learned about credit cards & online shop accounts, I got myself into such a mess and honestly don’t think I would be half way to getting out of debt if it wasn’t for Stepchange Reviewed on: 8th July 2020
