Life Saver

I did not know where to turn when I realised the money I owed, how was I going to pay it back. I told a relative, and he suggested StepChange. I got in touch with them, eventually decided a monthly payment. Took a long time to finish, but the ending was fantastic I was finally free of debt. Reviewed on: 4th May 2024

From my first contact I felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders. They were non-judgemental, even though my debt problems were of my own doing, but they dealt with my creditors promptly and in no time at all my DMP started and letters and phone calls stopped. Best of all this plan was free, all my creditors stopped any interest, fees or charges and I am now a mere 18 months from completion of my plan. In summary Step Change are amazing. Step Change has made a massive life changing difference to my life, when i remember back to the dark times i had before i first made contact with step change i honestly thought i was doomed. The step change voice on the other end of the phone reassured me that everything would be ok, i cannot ever thank them enough for everything they have done, and are still doing to this day. I was honestly and truly suicidal

I was in a bad situation during civil, I was suicidal I didn't know how to pay back my creditors, than I was told about Stepchange, they completely dealt with my problem, I will always remember this and everyone at stepchange are so caring understanding and supportive, I can't express in words just how grateful I am to them... StepChange Transforming the impossible to the possible

StepChange does not judge you if you have a debt problem. They treated me everytime with time, patience and support. I've had a horrible time with debt, and StepChange literally took away the horror of it all, and helped make my debts manageable. I'm halfway through paying off my debts. I no longer have sleepless nights, or live in fear of what the post might bring from my creditors. If you have a problem with debt, then I strongly urge you to pick up the phone and contact StepChange. StepChange changed my life!

StepChange have literally changed my life, I let my debts get on top of me, I was loosing sleep worrying about money, I couldn’t see away to resolve it. I contacted them and they were brilliant.
