A great help in a time of crisis

When I got myself into debt I was really struggling to even pay the minimum monthly payment, I found StepChange and they managed to negociate a monthly payment plan with each of my creditors, they were and still are a great help in managing my finances. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Great charity, that saved my keister.

Considering it is a charity a lot of help and well laid out plans and advice available. All in a centralised place. All options were explained in detail and there was no bit of information left out. I feel a lot more at ease with my situation now that step change is handling everything. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Step Change - I would recommend 100%

Without Step Change taking us on we would have lost our home. We were drowning in debt - Step Change carried out all negotiations with our creditors as I wasn't able to. I have severe mental health problems and Step Change were with us every step of the way. Their staff are amazing - they are always kind, compassionate and extremely helpful - no matter what you need help with. Honestly, Step Change and their staff saved my life. Stepchange have been fantastic.

Stepchange have been fantastic. Really supportive colleagues all the way through, giving good information to allow me to make the right decision for myself. Regular updates and statements are great, but I also really value being driven to do regular financial reviews too - really keeps on top of any changes so I don't find myself absorbing them and leaving myself short, or as in case lately not missing the opportunity to end the DMP early by contributing more. I came to Stepchange .

I came to Stepchange . Because we were finding it very hard to cope, I was advised to contact them. They helped to put us on the right track. We pay Set Amount per month I dealt with them on the phone they were fantastic. They were very helpful and very polite and they’re very easy to talk to you.
