Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

StepChange A life changet

I did not know what to expect on my 1st call I hadn’t fell behind in any payments, but I knew I would. I looked on line and StepChange caught my eye, I explained my position financially., and they talked me through it. I really believe StepChange saved my life, my daughter said to me mum I didn’t think you would be able to sort everything out I’m proud of you . I said it’s StepChange who have experienced advisors who have excellent knowledge and suggestions for you. Saved me from financial destruction, did not have clue where to go. They listened to my problems. Went through my finance made recommendations and put findings to Banks, Building Societies and other creditors. Negotiations made to stop interest and late payment charges. Agreed a much reduced monthly payment, allowing life to get back to normal. For their service they charge absolutely nothing, it’s Free. So professional as ways available to help and give advice on reviewing annual revisions. Don’t suffer with anxiety and stress. Let Step Change help you as they, helped me.
