Stepchange saved my life

Stepchange saved my life as i was in despair, scared and stressed. They helped me get organised and still made it affordable so i could live. They contacted all the companies i owed money to and negotiated the payment plan, i feel.more in control and i know I have an end date to becoming debt free. So grateful to StepChange.

I went from having a well paid job to not. I accrued debts I wasn’t covering the interest on every month. I was drowning. Owning my problem, the reality check of writing it down was really helpful. I got an affordable debt management plan. The annual reviews are great too, you can increase or decrease payments realistically. (Or just ring if circumstances change. I recommended StepChange to my son, and he has a DMP too. I have now paid mine off and am solvent for the first time in my life. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Finished!

When conducting our annual reviews, most of the staff were friendly and helpful and were let down by the few who were less than helpful, hence the loss of one star in the rating. We have however, with their help got through our problems and are now happily debt free! Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
