Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

This company have been amazing.

Getting the right help as soon as possible

Like many people my finances spiralled out of control.I contacted stepchange and they dealt with my problems sensitively and without judgement, just speaking with them and getting the help I needed I felt the weight lift from my shoulders and I was able to start getting sleep at night.
