Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

A godsend in the toughest times

I am very happy with my experience with stepchange

I am very happy with my experience with stepchange, my life has gone from stressful and not worth living to feeling manageable and feeling supported to keep on going. I am grateful for their support. They gave me all of the options I would be eligible for and let me choose the one that I thought would be best for me. They were understanding when I contacted customer support with nay queries or concerns. Back on track

Becoming a widow brought unexpected everything including debt! Stepchange helped me to stop the overwhelming stress and worry. They spoke to the credit card companies for me and arranged one easy affordable payment per month.
