A charity that helps me breathe again

I found myself heavily in credit card debt, and was only one or two months away from potentially losing everything. I had not heard of Stepchange, and was pointed in their direction by a Creditor. I did a budget review and spoke to a rep on the phone. A DMP was set up and I have not looked back. I will be completely debt free next year. They helped me breathe again. My Crisis when Covid struck

When Covid struck my part time job stopped and I was laid off. The money I earned supplemented my pension and helped pay my dues. However although I applied for holiday space on my debts I was unable to fulfil my payments. I contacted Stepchange who within one week sorted all my issues, put my mind at rest and we are both almost up to a years review. It was all done on line or over the phone.
