Cancels Your Annual Car Insurance And Keeps The Money

Cheeky anyway to request additional documents AFTER you've already paid for annual car insurance (never happened with other car insurance companies), but the cherry on top is that no emails or phone calls were received to say that they were about to cancel our insurance unless we send those documents through. Funnily enough, after they spoke on the phone to the main driver the other day, an email came through from them, but 'somehow' the two from back in April didn't. After we had called ourselves, they processed a partial refund and had we not called, they simply wouldn't have refunded our money. Processing only a partial refund can only be described as theft, since the cancellation happened as a result of their disorganised admin and after such a horrendous service, I would expect all the money back. As far as I'm concerned, we also didn't get the benefit of the service we actually paid for, which was annual car insurance, not pay for the year and you're only covered for a fraction of the time. Not to mention how ridiculous it is to charge us a 'cancellation fee' for them cancelling the policy, not us. Finally, the response to my Google review was nothing short of insulting, as they said they "couldn't find my policy" - I had requested a deadlock letter to escalate this to the ombudsman where I stated the policy number, and they have the nerve to make my review on Google look like a scam. Terrible experience please stay away

Terrible experience – please stay away! I had one of the worst experiences ever with this insurance company. My car broke down on the motorway while I was driving with my small child, and I called them for help. It took me almost one hour just to get through on the phone, and then another hour waiting for the recovery truck to arrive. On my policy, I clearly have a courtesy car included, but when I asked for one, they told me that because I didn’t have an “accident”, only a breakdown, I wasn’t entitled to a courtesy car. I was left completely stranded with a child and no support at all. A few weeks later, my car broke down again, this time right in front of my house. I called the insurance company again, and they said my cover doesn’t include recovery from home — even though I was told I had breakdown cover! They literally said there’s nothing they can do. When I decided to cancel my insurance because I was paying for nothing, they didn’t even apologise. Instead, they charged me a cancellation fee, which is unbelievable after all the trouble they caused. Their prices may look cheap, but nothing is actually included. You’ll only find out what’s missing when something bad happens — and by then, it’s too late. Be very careful before choosing this company. Cheap isn’t always good. They are cheap for a reason! Nothing is included, and when you really need help, they’ll just tell you it’s not covered. Don’t be fooled by the low price – you’ll end up paying more in stress and frustration. Run away from this company.

Run away from this company. I was paying my direct debit as agreed to pay monthly. 3 months later I had to sale my van due to an electrical issue and I told them the policy needed to be cancelled. Not vehicle, not cover. On top of that not claims made either. She then came back saying that I will have to pay an early cancellation fee, this was £220!!! I told her they would not take a penny from me, then she threatened to take me to courts. I have made an official complaint against them and I am leading for this to be investigated from an independent inquiry. This is stealing in my view. My insurance was on a annual rollover in that i was...

My insurance was on a annual rollover in that i was informed that my insurance would be renewed automatic , to which i emailed back to proceed, however the insurance was not renewed which resulted in my car not being insured for 3 months until i was reminded by a ANPR advice, this poor service was dangerous , i could have had a accident resulting in loss of life. This was a frightening experience, the only response i had when reporting it to your company was go to another insurer which was disgusting. The whole situation was very poor. I will be posting this on my google review so too reporting this episode to the insurance ombudsman. Reviewed on: 9th April 2025

Motor policy expert insurance avoid!

Motor policy expert insurance avoid! Experts in taking your money and wasting your time. Customer service is shocking. The people on the phone are useless and don't care. They just want your money just scammers. Cancelled my policy after 1 month even after sending the correct documents as requested. Con artists you have been warned!
