About this product

You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great banking.

Tembo has excellent customer service which is rare with banks, the app is very easy to use and they always keep you updated with your finances. Lots of very useful bits on the app aswell like advice for saving etc. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

First Time Buyer Support

Me and my husband setup a LISA at Tembo based on our research, they had very promising reviews and I really liked their app, the useful articles they share via email and their easy to use mortgage calculator. We attended a webinar of their's and it was extremely helpful. We also had a call with a Tembo mortgage advisor to get their advice and they helped us prioritise clearing our debt prior to buying a house. We felt that they gave us advice that had our best interest at heart, they also suggested checking in with us a year later to see and they did! They really do care and want to help.
