You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Here to stay

The main reason I had to move my LISA to Tembo was their very attractive interest rate as I felt that my money was not working hard enough with my previous provider and I knew I was planning on saving for a few more years before I am ready to buy. However, I was even more pleasantly surprised by Tembo's excellent customer service and their streamlined and attractive app design. I am even planning on getting my mortgage with the help of Tembo when the time comes as I've heard many good things about their mortgage service from friends.
