You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

I’d definitely recommend Tembo!

Came for the rate, stayed for the app experience.

I switched to Tembo for my LISA and cash ISA because my previous provider dropped their interest rate. After looking around I found Tembo had the best rate around and so took the plunge. I came for the rate, I stayed for the app experience and customer service. Both of which are top notch (extremely minor quibbles aside). Tembo is great..

After my bank started to decrease their interest rates and continued too, I knew my savings needed to be moved elsewhere. This is when I discovered Tembo- they have market leading interest rate which I LOVE. Also, their customer support and in-app experience are amazing. They also have a fee-free mortgage service which I intend to use when the time is right. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Easy to use is Tembo and the 3.8% interest is good as well, the interest seems to land in my account regularly and so does the government bonus. The only thing I'd maybe change is the minimum deposit, I've 25p left to add but I can't because it needs to be £10 minimum Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
