You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Good rates and lots of help available

I moved to Tembo last year because they had the best rates. Since then they also offered a 1% bonus to savers who plan to buy in the coming year and a half (bonuses often are only available to new customers of other savings accounts but this benefits long term savers who are finally ready to buy, like me! They offered free sessions on what buying a place and getting a mortgage is like and then I started getting things in order and being able to use tembos mortgage broker service helped me be ready.
