You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Friendly service with tools for first time buyers

I have been using Tembo for a year. The app is easy to use. When I contacted customer service they provided fast responses and fixed my problem quickly. They also provided a follow up to make sure I was happy with the service. I receive the government LISA but also interest from themselves. They provide emails regularly with interesting facts and supports about moving out. There is many services to help first time buyers. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
