You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo's Lifetime ISA is an excellent way to save for a first house. The app is very user friendly with clean and clear layouts. I like the fact that you can link up with another person and aim towards a shared goal. They also have market leading rates and provide excellent opportunities to win prizes and offer other services that will be incredibly beneficial when it comes to buying a house, like mortgage services. Best interest rate.

Great App and Simple to Manage My Savings

I’ve been using the Tembo Money Lifetime ISA for just over a year now and overall I’ve had a really positive experience with it. What I like about Tembo specifically is how easy the whole platform is to use. The app and website are really straightforward, so it’s simple to track how much you’ve saved and see when the government bonus comes in. Setting up deposits was quick and I’ve never had any issues with payments going through. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the UK who is saving for their first property and wants a simple, digital way to manage their Lifetime ISA. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

I have only recently set up my account, as has my partner. We are 20 and 21 and are looking to buy a house. Tembo has made it a lot easier and was an incredibly easy set up. There was no hassle like there have been with other providers and we are already incredibly happy with our experience. Easy to use app

Easy to use app and easy to set up LISA/Cash ISA and transfer across from existing providers. Also like the emails with easy to understand information on latest relevant changes (e.g. interest rates). Saving goals a useful feature and so is being able to quickly get a rough estimate on how much mortgage I'll be able to get based on different circumstances etc. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
