You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Easy to use, clear info. But connected to Barclays...

Easy to use, clear info. Haven't used tembo to take out a mortgage yet so we will see how that goes! But the rates seem decent compared to other providers. One down side is that they are linked with Barclays who invest in oil/fossil fuels, so I am looking to potentially move and go for something more ethically driven. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
