You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great Experience with Tembo

I have had a great experience so far. The app works really well. Transfered my money over to Tembo and I love how it tells you how much ISA allowance you have left across all accounts - my previous provider didnt which was fustrating and confusing. Competitive interest rates, very easy to track and upate payments, how much of the allowance you have left. Very nice and intuitive user experience. I would say the only drawback has been managing direct debits but I suppose they have no control over that. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
