A bank with a conscience

I switched to Triodos many years ago because they offer ethical investments and appear to have a real social conscience, unlike any other bank I have dealt with. We need more banking like this. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Helping others is a gain

One of the blights on financial services is the requirement to 'maximise shareholder value', which rapidly degenerates into profiteering and asset-stripping which has had a detrimental effect on public life and has increased poverty. Ethical investing benefits many people rather than a few and those of us who invest ethically are content with a small return over time, which, at least maintains the purchasing value of our investment taking inflation into account. Investment which doesn't ignore the climate emergency

Trusting that your money is used for good

I took out my Triodos ISA when I received my pension lump sum, and I wanted to make sure that it would be invested ethically. Since then I have found Triodos to be a great company, with good communications both about my account and the use to which Triodos put my money.
