Updraft really understand their customer base and what their needs are and offer a good starting variety of products based on its customer needs. Straightforward loans and transparent company

Really easy to use the app to apply for the loans and full transparency with repayment terms, amounts and percentages. Really like the accounts feature that lets you keep an eye on all your credit products, how many payments you have made, how much is remaining etc. Could only give 4* as I had an issue where an extra direct debit was taken from my account and I did not receive any communication from them. It took me 2 days of calling and messaging to get through to someone and find out what had happened and arrange for a refund to be issued. However when I did speak to someone they were absolutely fantastic and very reassuring, explaining exactly what the error was. Why it had happened and how they were going to resolve the problem. Overall service was good

Having taken a loan with Updraft last year, I've had only incredible and refreshing service. The apps functionality is simple and straightforward, and the open banking feature allows me to view all of my accounts in one place. During the term of my loan, any questions I had were dealt with in a friendly manner, and I was always kept updated with timescales on a reply, meaning I was never at a loose end. Every colleague I've spoken to using the chat function have been trained very well, they perfectly balance knowing when to be more formal when answering your question whilst also being personable to make the conversation natural, unlike your usual bank experience Reviewed on: 11th April 2023
