A Great Way to Save Money

Benefits my community

I've been saving with East Sussex credit union since it's early days and that's helped me be prepared. I love how my savings are available as loans to other members who need them, helping to avoid unscrupulous lenders. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2021

Top class!

I can't thank the ESCU enough. I had a money situation about 10 years ago and they came to the rescue with manageable loan amount/repayment at a lower interest than I was offered elsewhere. The only proviso being that I also had to pay into a share account to build up some savings at the same time. This helped to enforce good saving habits and bring me out of financial distress. Now loan free, I also have a nice little pot of savings that I continue to add to which has proved very handy to dip into for unforeseen circumstances! In addition to this, the customer service has been beyond excellent. On the one occasion (in 10 years!) that there was a blip it was resolved immediately. So, thank you ESCU and your fantastic staff! ESCU motivated me to save £20 per month which was affordible

Having saved £20 per month regularly I have now accumilated £941.88 . . . this is an amazing amount that I wouln't have acheived without them, thank you very much, I highly recommend them, it's easy to save!! Reviewed on: 18th February 2021
