Worst bank ever

Don’t go near this bank. Bad staff. bad online. Never can get through on phone. We have a credit card with them that’s never been used or left the house and as now been hacked. Not sure how? Can l get through to anybody NO. If l listed all the trouble we have had with them l would need all night. We have no money with them anymore & will be closing all empty accounts in the morning. The UK's worst bank - by far!

If you join this bank you will regret it. This bank are without doubt the worst, most incompetent and breathtakingly useless bank that exists in the UK today. You can expect no security for your money (my account was hacked) an antiquated system of complaints, a diabolically bad online banking service that never works, terrible customer service where EVERYTHING must be done in a branch. Rude staff, no return calls, or emails ever. You will save yourself months of hassle not joining this bank. There is a reason why they are rated so badly and quite frankly, I cannot believe they are still trading such is the way they treat their customers. I am issuing County Court proceedings on them. Worst Bank ever

Just been joined them in Oct 2018 and can't access my account online or mobile App the pay my bills. Have telephoned them several times and got very little help in sorting the problem out. Put in 3 Online Complaints and just been told this from YB: We deal with complaints in date order received to treat customers fairly, and then in a fair and prompt manner. We will write to you within the next 4 weeks with an update on your complaint or with a final response. That means i still can't pay any business invoices till 2019, if then its sorted. An Improvement on Barclays

We switched to Yorkshire Bank after a 20 year relationship with Barclays that turned sour when we were denied a small, short-term overdraft facility. Yorkshire's sign-up procedure was all very positive and their online services work well but we have had similar problems in accessing finance and a lack of relationship management. We are likely to change supplier this year. Reviewed on: 16th January 2017
