Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

A good app based account but not the best value

It's a good app based bank account but some of their recent communications are not clear and I've had to call before to clarify some of the account charges. They seem to be more focused on business accounts now. On the plus side, you never need to wait long to get in touch with their support. Reviewed on: 12th June 2025

I’ve been a Cashplus customer for over 2 years, and I recently went through the rebrand to Zempler Bank. Honestly, the transition was smoother than expected — my card still works, the app looks cleaner, and the core features I rely on (like instant notifications and expense tracking) are still there. Happy to be here.

For many years I have been a customer of Cashplus, now Zempler Bank, and the friend I recommended is still with them as well. Being able to make regular payments from my account is a great asset, I hope it continues to give great service in years to come. Only contacted customer service once in the years I have been a customer, service was brilliant, I feel it has great benefits to any customer who joins. Reviewed on: 21st April 2025

Easy use
