DO NOT CONSIDER CASHPLUS AS A BANK FOR YOU OR YOUR BUSINESS

Please read this review and consider carefully before you open a business account with Cashplus Bank. I opened an account in 2019 for a new business that I was starting, the only reason I considered Cashplus was because of the ease in opening the account. This company has had very few transactions because of COVID which restricted me from visiting my suppliers in China, March I was able to visit my suppliers in China and arranged for stock to be shipped I then deposited money from my personal account and proceed to make payments through a well know high street forex bureau. Cashplus froze my account at 17.55 on Friday the 10th of March, I phoned them that evening asking why they replied that I needed to fill in a questionnaire which I did they also informed me that it can take up-to five working days to have this questionnaire reviewed and for my account to be unfrozen. Monday morning the 13th I again phoned them explaining that this is my business and I cannot operate without the account opened after a long call I finally got to speak to someone who agreed to expedite the process, I then forwarded by email copies of all the invoices and copies of the forex transactions, on Friday the 17th of March which to my mind was the fifth working day I phoned them again where they then informed me that the first day Monday doesn’t count and that the fifth working day is today the 20th of March, today I again called at 16.00 hrs. and was informed that they have until 18.00 hrs. to reply. As of now there has been no reply and my account his sill frozen. I have recorded all my conversations with them and will be now reporting the matter to the financial Ombudsman. I AM LEAVING THIS REVIEW SO AS TO WARN ALL NOT TO CONSIDER CASHPLUS AS A BANK FOR YOUR BUSINESS THE STRESS THEY HAVE CAUSED ME THIS PAST WEEK IS INCONSIDERATE. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023
