I've had a complete nightmare with 118 credit card.

I've had a complete nightmare with 118 credit card. They keep on taking minimum payment twice which puts me in an unaranged overdraft and tell me it will take 3 days to refund the payment. Under no circumstances set up a direct debit for minimum payment. Make your payment manually. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

Awful Company, Stay away!

Never have I experienced anything as bad as this shower, extortionate charges, theyt agree one thing and do another, case won at FOC. AS for closing the account, omg, pathetic. An experience I will not be repeating. Reviewed on: 24th October 2023

Shocking - duplicate payments taken and card was blocked for 5 days

Shocking. After paying off my credit card balance in full for the amount of £1900, another duplicate payment was taken through my direct debit, which left me £1,600 overdrawn in my bank account. Furthermore, my 118 1118 credit card was blocked and I was told it would take 5 business days for both the block to me removed, and for the duplicate payment to be returned to my bank account. Meanwhile I was left with no money to pay for daily living expenses. Customer service is appalling. This company needs to be investigated. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2023

Very high interest

The interest rate is absolutely shocking I’ve not used my card this month yet they charge a minimum £70/£80 a month on top of your minimum payment this month my bill is £170 wish I’d looked elsewhere daylight robbery Reviewed on: 19th September 2023

They keep blocking my credit card

I had an old loan with 118. I had some financial issues in the past, so I went on IVA. That was ended last year in September. All problem starred when I asked 118 to update my credit file and close of the old loan account. Once I brought this problem to they attention since then I have sent in 6 different email stating I'm not on IVA. So they should block my card. I waiting for they final response and then refer the case to Financial ombudsman. Because they excuse doesn't wash with me. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

Worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Initial balance transfer was fine. After that, trying to get hold of someone in customer services to do a second transfer was impossible. Will never use them again. Reviewed on: 27th May 2023
