A better Building Society would be hard to find

Friendly and helpful service

We wanted to get a good rate of interest on our savings and Chorley building society fitted the bill. We discussed with a member of staff who was very helpful. It was so nice to be able to do it at the society rather than online (I am a bit of a dinosaur). The account was up and running within 10 minutes. Brilliant Reviewed on: 27th February 2023

Savings and information

I was left some money in a will and initially had it in my bank but money needs to work for you. I went to several building societies for information, however the decision was easy once I visited CBS. The staff took their time and went through my options and when appropriate I’ve opened fixed term accounts as well. First class advice and service from friendly, knowledgeble face to face staff

Whenever I go in to the branch office to update my account books I am always met with a smile and given excellent advice. This has included advising me to change my then savings account to one which would provide me with better interest. I have always felt that my custom was valued and I have stayed with the Chorley and District for 41 years because of this personal service. Reviewed on: 27th February 2023
