Many Years of Great Service

Have been insured with GJW for many years, they are efficient, patient & polite. The online platform can cause me issues, but a quick call to them to point me in the right direction. On the couple of occasions I have had to claim, they made it trouble free. Reviewed on: 11th July 2025

GJW, since the RIPE takeover, a definite downwards step

GJW were very good but this year since being taken over by RIPE, it's all gone downhill. First the premium, despite 4 years no claims and never claiming on a boat, went up significantly this year. Second, interest free installments ended, replaced with a 29% APR plan with a 3rd party Finally I had to phone a number of times regarding the policy, the first time as a customer, and it often took a looooong time, if able at all,to reach an adviser. Friendly staff though but a marked downhill from all previous years. Reviewed on: 11th July 2025

The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable, making the entire experience feel welcoming and effortless. Their in-depth knowledge of various boat types and related content truly shone through, enabling me to obtain a quick and accurate quotation without any hassle.
