I was delighted to come across Plata in 2023 when I needed a small loan (£8k) Most other lenders were not willing to help as I had a very temporary blip to my finances in 2018 due to change in personal circumstances which I have worked very hard to reverse the damage to my credit score, but thankfully, due to forward-thinking lenders such as Plata who have not been opportunistic with outrageous APR's allowed me to borrow and get firmly back on my feet with my financial situation.
