Threatening Letter's and no right to complain!

Started to receive demands for payment from their card services for a debt that is not mine (someone else's name at my address that I have lived there for 20 years. Spoke to them and told send back and they will correct. 5 letters and phone calls later, still kept receiving them, then started get debt collector threats of legal action. Wrote and complained to be told as the debt is not mine, I have no rights to complain and that they will continue to send threatening letters until the real person contacts them to change the address!! What a load of **** as if whoever gave a fraudulent address (which they should have check them out before giving credit) is going to have a change of heart and tell them where they actually live. Never use store cards and will never use Argo's again too! Reviewed on: 13th November 2019

The Best Bank

Poor customer service

Every time I had to call them the customer service was just awful. Never helpful or happy to fix the problem, the cards were getting damaged very easily. Had to cancel my credit card with them Reviewed on: 22nd June 2017

The best credit card provider

Argos credit card has been the best credit card I have had. The customer service is second to none and the points earned make it all worth while. I've had nothing but good experiences with Argos! Reviewed on: 8th June 2017

Card is convenient but expensive

Having an Argos card is great for one thing: buying moderately expensive but common items that aren't any cheaper elsewhere, and paying them off before the interest free period expires. However if you don't do this, they nail you with interest. I've also found it means I sometimes I pay more for things that I could get cheaper elsewhere. Which I guess makes it a good business tactic on Argos' part. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017
