Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Easy to open accounts

Simple to open an account, contact with an advisor is quick and easy and local, not a foreign call centre. Have opened a second account recently and won’t hesitate to open a third in due course. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Easy admin for oldies and competitive interest rates.

I am nearly 80 years of age and left work before the Internet was the norm. However, despite not being tech savvy I have invested with Atom and had no problems whatsoever. Also the interest rates are very competitive and they regularly keep me informed of the amount in my investments. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
